How to Plant an Easter Window Box
Y’all, Easter is so close, and I couldn’t resist sharing one of my favorite ways to celebrate at home—by planting a festive, personality-packed Easter window box! Follow along with my tutorial on Youtube below so you can have a beautiful arrangement to greet your guests on Easter Sunday!
How TO PLant a Beautiful Easter THemed Window Box
A copper window box (mine’s well over 10 years old and still going strong—but this one is a close match!
High Quality potting soil (I like Fafard)
A rosemary topiary (shaped into an Easter egg for fun!) If you can’t find one in your garden center, you could make a rosemary wreath like this one at On Sutton Place!
Spring blooms: daffodils, baby irises, tulips, hyacinth, primrose (Pro Tip: Buy plants with unopened buds—they’ll last longer!)
Festive touches: Pastel Easter Eggs, pretty ribbon, reindeer moss
How to Assemble
Prep your box: Remember: drainage holes are a must! Drill some if needed!
Layer soil and arrange your topiary as the centerpiece.
Tuck in blooms around it, mixing heights and colors.
Add whimsy: Nestle moss, hang eggs, and tie ribbon for Easter charm!
That’s it! This is a unique window box planting idea that’s a quick, gorgeous way to welcome spring. Once Easter is over, you can easily pop all of these plants into your yard where they can bloom year after year!
